Fred Wang

Director and Chairman of the Board

Fred Wang has served as an independent director and chairman of our board since September 2006 and is a member of our compensation and executive committees. Mr. Wang serves as the chairman of our nominating committee. In addition, Mr. Wang has served as an independent director of our parent company, CDC Corporation, since October 2005, and an independent non-executive director of China.com Inc., an affiliated company, since February 2002 Mr. Wang has been a director of Salon Films (Hong Kong) Limited, a company founded by the Wang family, since 1969. Mr. Wang is the honorary vice president of the China Film Foundation, director of the board of the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society Limited, a member of the Board of Governors of the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide. Mr. Wang graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business and Economics from Whittier College in the United States.
